Ladakh is one of the highest land of Kashmir with much over 10,000 ft.It extents the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges and the upper Indus River plain. In topographical terms, this is a young plain, build with a some thousands years ago by the folding and buckling of the earth's coating .Its basic shape lifted by these exceptional fundamental movements, have been changed over the year by the opposite process of destruction carved into the form we can watch by its air and water.Today, a high -distance desert, covered from the bearing clouds of the monsoon of India by the Himalayan barrier, Ladakh was once wrapped by an inclusive lake, the destruction of which still now present on its south-eastern land of Chushul and Rupshu.
